Can anybody recommend a nutrionist that specializes in people with Hashimoto's?

Hi,

Can you tell us where you live? I sure like the idea of a nutritionist that understands Hashimotos!

Hi Mo - thanks for both of your replies. I live in Los Angeles. In the last two days, I was actually recommend to two nutritionists  that do specialize in folks with endocrine issues.  If I find that either are reputable/helpful, can I post their info on this site? I also found a woman in Chicago that looks perfect, but again, want to check if I can post her info before doing so (and I have no personal experience with her).

By the way, to correct my intro email, the bad docs were giving me T3, not T4, and it was concocted in their own pharmacy, so who knows what they put in the meds!

Thanks, Janine

HI Janine,

This is what I am thinking. I would rather keep recommendations on this forum to doctors who have really helped one of our members. I say this because sometimes the claims are so good, but in actuality, the sufferer has not really seen a great enough change to recommend their doctor. This has been the case for me and mine. (Although I was greatly helped with allergies by a local doctor but nothing changed in the area of Hashimoto's.)

However, if there are testimonies available by those on this forum, I would LOVE to have them post the info. Smiley

Please keep us posted on your experience with these nutritionist so others can be aware.

Looking forward to hearing from you again.
